Brotherly Love

This is one of the only times William has held Cade, and we finally have evidence that he does love his brother. William has really started showing quite a bit of concern for his baby brother. He is constantly saying, "What's wrong Cade?" or "It's ok Cade." and even sometimes "Here Cade." (while handing him a toy). It's a good thing they were wearing matching outfits, to make the picture that much cuter.

The Three Amigos

Our dearest friends from Houston are in this week. They have two boys just older and just younger than William. The boys always a blast together. However, I think that Denise and I could give them a run for their money. It is such a blessing to have such wonderful friends. Denise and the boys came in on Monday, and Chris will join us after he gets off work on Friday. I'm sure we will all be exhausted by the time the week is over, but wouldn't trade it for anything. Here are the boys after the long awaited arrival, it won't be long and Cade will be chasing them around too.

Our Tree Fell!

Well, some pretty big rain clouds came through our town today. We got a total of 3 1/2 inches, however 2 1/2 of those came in about 30 minutes. I was able to watch it from inside the grocery store. All I needed was one loaf of bread, the boys and I ended up hanging out in HEB for 45 minutes. Anyways, when I got home a grapefruit tree in our backyard had blown over. We were planning on taking the tree out anyways, so it is a blessing. Now we just have to cut it up and haul it off. It also did us another favor, the only thing it hit was another tree which we we are also going to take out. The rain was much needed. Thank you, Lord.

The Guitar

It was brought to my attention that I left out one of Williams absolute favorite things to do. SING!! Yes that's right we have a little musician on our hands. He needs his radio on, and his guitar which rarely leaves his side. He follows me around ALL day singing at the top of his lungs and pounding/strumming away on his guitar. He is also quite a hit at church... On Sunday Mornings William does his best to sing along with songs he doesn't quite know and he can usually be heard over ... well sometimes the song leader. He has a song in his heart that just doesn't stop, and we love it. Some of his favorite songs are ABC's, Jesus loves Me, Twinkle Twinkle, Obey Obey O, and Well Well Well (a few we learned at VBS). Here is William in his new Bus tent, with his guitar.

Where we are now

Hey everyone! Glad you have found our blog. We are doing are best to stay technologically savy, but I guess we are arriving a little late. So here is a quick update on our life. As of February we are in Corpus Christi. Michael is a branch manager for Mueller, Inc. I stay at home and try to keep things in order from the two miniature tornadoes that we have been blessed with. It is the best job in the world.
Our tornadoes names are William and Cade. William will be 2 1/2 and Cade will be 6mths, next month. they are 4 days short of being exactly 2 years apart.
William has an amazing vocabulary for a two year old, and keeps us laughing all the time. He is very into cars and trucks, but I think his favorite thing to do is talk about, watch, and touch bugs. I know his obsession triggers bugs to somehow get brought into the majority of our conversations.
Cade is giggling, jabbering, and almost crawling. His favorite thing to do is watch his big brother. I know William is going to love that once he learns to crawl faster.Yikes.
We keep ourselves pretty busy. We have found a church family here that has taken us in so well. We have just hit the ground running, but are having a blast doing it.
Well I hope this keeps you up to date. Pictures will be along soon.
