Houston, Portland and Easter 2009: A gazillion photos

Well it has been a while since I posted and I appologize. We have been traveling quite a bit and trying to keep up around here has been a chore! Anyways here is what we have been up to and I warn you the pictures are out of order and I can't get them to move so sorry. I'll try to walk you through the pics as best as possible.

At the end of March we visited some of our best and dearest friends in Houston. Chris and Denise Perry. They had 3 children at the time,Owen (6), Brayden (3), and Julianna (1) but now 4... Congrats on your newest addition, Mikaela Nichole!

The Friday after we come home we joined Aunt Nanny, Uncle Rick, Aunt Heather, Uncle Brandon and Zoe in Portland, TX for dinner and an pre-Easter egg hunt. It was Zoe's first time to really hunt eggs and she was so cute!

On Easter weekend, we went to Crawford to spend the weekend with Michaels family. It was a blast!
Above: Mom trying to get a good shot of the kids in their Easter wear:) Brennan was completly distracted by how much mulch he could get his hands on:)
Below: Our family at the Portland Egg hunt.
William (4), Cade (2), Zoe (1), Brennan (7 1/2mths)
I love that Zoe is snatching Cade's eggs, he finally just started giving them to her:) They were good at sharing:)

In Crawford: After all the fun of the day, the kids found an OLD trampoline out behind the barn and decided to play on it. They looked like they had rolled in a pile of ashes. The black area on Williams rump isn't a shadow it was just that black, and check out those elbows and feet:)

Easter Sunday was a beautiful Day!! What wonderful weather for such a special day.

Granny and Papa with the boys.

After the egg hunt and bubble fun, the boys decided to play Army, here they are defending their fort. They played together so well and so hard. In order from Left to Right: Grant (6), William (4), Cade (2), Cole (3)

More Army shots

Concentrating really hard on the bubbles. Aunt Jen got one for each of the kids and it was their favorite Easter gift.

Cade was so proud of his Bubble sword too:)

Back to Houston.... While we were there some of our other friends Gary and Jeanie Swearingen happened to be visiting. They lived in Houston the same time we did, and moved away about the same time as well. They are now living in Florida and we havn't seen them in almost 5 years. We met at a park with another couple that we used to hang out with... Here are our adventures. :)

Vagueness explained.

Sorry to all of you who aren't in our daily life happenings and are completely confused with the recent posts. I received a call the other day from a very concerned friend, and it was brought to my attention that I have been so vague that she had no idea what was going on. So I thought I would shed a drop of light on our situation, so as not to worry anyone else.

We have been at a state of uneasiness at church for a while, and have finally come to the conclusion that we might not be were God wants us to be serving. We are currently searching for a church home, that we can serve and grow our family. Which is a scary and difficult task for us. We are trying to walk by faith and let God show us the hearts and works of each congregation we visit. We know God is going to guide our feet down the road He sees fit, we just have to study and listen to what he is telling us.

I know this is again vague, but hopefully puts some of your minds and hearts to rest.

On My Mind Today!

Hide Me Away, O Lord
