Ok, so for about a month now every 3 days or so I wake up between 3:00 am and 4:00 am. Wide awake! What is the deal. I can stay up for about an hour or two and then go back to sleep just fine, but if I just lay in bed I just lay there for about 3 hours. What do you guys think is causing this, what should I do to prevent it? I have tried to watch what I eat or drink close to bed time/after dinner; but it doesn't seem to matter. I can stick to all water to drink and no sweets and nothing... no difference... UUUUHHHGGGG! This is so frustrating.
The Sunny Side of Life:
I guess one think that I can say is it will only last a little longer, I'm sure after the baby comes I will be so exhausted I will have no problem sleeping, b/c I'll be up half the night anyway:). By the way, I can't believe the baby egg has almost reached the end of the ticker and soon we will have another birthday timer at the top of our page! Wow. I'm so excited and nervous all at the same time. :) What will he look like? What will the brothers think of this little baby? How will he sleep? How will he eat? What is his personality be like? All things I'm so excited to find out!
Anyways, enough with the rambling.... you have to give me this one, I mean it is 3:45 am. :) I'm going to watch some Food Network Re-runs and then head back to bed. Goodnight, Hope you are all sleeping tight. :)

Hello Dolly! Put on your Sunday Clothes.
Lyrics to Hello Dolly
"Put on your Sunday clothes when you feel down and out
Strut down the street and have your picture took
Dressed like a dream your spirits seem to turn about
That Sunday shine is a certain sign
That you feel as fine as you look"
All day yesterday it was windy and we had a nice steady rain to enjoy, but last night Hurricane Dolly really decided to strut her stuff down the streets of Corpus Christi. We received between 5-8 inches (our rain gauge is broken) of rain and howling winds. No damage(in our neighborhood anyways), just a night of poor sleep. That is the worst we are supposed to see, and by tomorrow they say it's going to be hot and dry again. Which in South Texas weather means, MUGGY! Thank so many of you for calling and checking on us through the day yesterday. Sorry I don't have any pictures, all you would see are a lot of puddles anyways. Hope you are all having a great day. :)

Accomplishments Part 2
Ok, so a few posts ago I made a list of things I felt pressed to accomplish before the new addition to our family arrived. The nesting is in full swing... and I thought I would update you on my list. Not that you care, but this is my way of virtually crossing it off my list:)
Things I have accomplished:
1. sorted, washed and put away all blankets, toys, bibs, hats, and clothes
2. Washed and put back together all cushions and slings for all the gadgets, slings, and bouncies.
3. Set up bassinett in our room, consisted of moving a little furniture (I know it's a little early, but like I said nesting hit full swing and I just couldn't resist)
4. Bought a baby book and have started filling it out
5. Bought a take home outfit for the baby, Yeah.
Ok, so I know I warned you before of my obsession with detailed lists, so I'm stopping now. Point being, We are well on our way to having a nursery again! Not that it has been that long since we had one:). Well better go get a few more things knocked off my list while I have some energy.

Playing Dirty
We spent the evening outside playing while Michael mowed the yard. After the yard was clean we were lounging on the deck and I let William get out the water hose. It started out by watering the flowers and ended with a large mud hole. I think the pictures speak for themselves. I will say this is the most Michael and I have ever laughed at these crazy boys. Next time, I think Mommy and Daddy might have to join the fun.
Soon after the last two pictures we stripped them to their shiney hineys and hosed off before heading to the tub.

We went fishin.
William and Cade made "Fish Charts" a week or so ago. For everyday that the boys had exceptional behavior, William got to put a spot on the fish, once we reached 7 spots, we were off the Walmart to do some fishin. Two fish.... three days later.... One fish. Oh, well. William was so proud, but Cade loves the fish, he checks up on it hourly. One day I'll get the boys to give it a name, but William isn't interested in naming it yet.
Happy Birthday America
Our July 4th was filled with lots of fun! Aunt Jen was in town and lounged most of the day away and spent the rest of the time at the T-heads seeing the sights, enjoying dinner, and watching the fireworks. Here are a ton of pictures from the day. It was a great day! Mostly just cute ones of the boys.

Fun Times
Cade is completly obsessed with balls, but his new love is a balloon. We went grocery shopping and the clerk gave each of the boys a balloon. That is all Cade played with for the next 4 days, and then they popped or got so small I threw them away. Busy boys make a happy mom:) A few days before the 4th of July, it rained at the house while we were out to lunch with Michael. By the time we got home, Cade had zonked out in the car and it was just a mild drizzle outside, so William got to stay up and play in the rain. He loved it! What a great break from the crazy heat of South Texas.
