Wordful Wednesday

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

⁴ Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. ⁵ It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. ⁶ Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. ⁷ It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Today marks a special day for me and my sweet! 9 years ago today,  God brought Michael and I together in Holy Matrimony... to share our lives together as one!  I am so blessed to have a husband that Loves me where I am and for who I strive to be, and who himself, strives for so much more. 

Michael,

Thank you for your patience with me, for loving me even with my oh so many faults and baggage.  Thank you for sharing life with me, for the fun and laughter and also for the not so fun, pull me out of the pits times.  Thank you for being such a dedicated father and husband.  Thank you for loving God, and for sharing that with me and the boys.  I guess what I'm trying to say is.... I LOVE YOU!    

Safeguard your Marriage

I am very blessed to have a husband that adores me, as I do him.  I am also very blessed to have a husband that is under the same opinion of how to prioritize our marriage. Although, we are definitely not perfect at it, we both try very hard. 
I never want to look back at my marriage and think... "if only I would have told him how much he means to me!" I want him to know everyday that he is MY MAN!! and that I would Fight for him anyday, anyplace, anytime!

I beg you today, make your Husband and your marriage a priority! Don't fall into the busy trap of life... remember how important it is to a model strong relationship to your children!

Happy Anniversary!!

Today, October 19th is the day I married the man of my dreams 8 years ago. It has been such a journey, one with ups and downs, with sadness and happiness, with anger and peace, with trials and successes; but one that I treasure every minute of every day! It seems so strange to think that Michael and I have only known each other for 9 years... 9 years!! My how our life has changed over the last 9 years...  What would I do without this amazing friend, leader, and mate in my life?

Fun Numbers One for each year.

1   The number of Girls that live in our house... yep, I'm outnumbered. Big Time!

2   Cars we have bought

3   Towns we have lived in

4    The boys that live in our house... 3 kids + 1 daddy

5    Homes we have lived in

6   Years that we have been parents (well, actually only 5 yrs and 10 months)

7   Most pet we have had at one time (Tadpoles,Bugs, and Dogs; they all had names so they count.)

8  Years on this amazing journey with the one I love. (I know sappy, but sincere)

 It is so fun to look back at the last 8 years and see where God has led us. I can't wait to see what He has in store for this year. I love you Michael!!  XOXO
