Pumpkin Patch
Here we are with our playgroup at the pumpkin patch. Below is William and Ashton, one of his newest and best friends.
Mama and the brothers. :) Sweet boys!
Sweet Smiles and Sweet Smells
October is my "birthday month" , however I spent my birthday having pizza and cupcakes with 3 little boys. My 4th and biggest boy had to go out of town on business but before he left he surprised me with flowers. I also got a bouquet of roses from a good friend. My house smelled so nice.
This is not the best picture but here is William with his sweet Tawni. Tawni is a college girl that goes to church with us. She babysits here and there and is also in our small group. William and Cade both love her to death, but who can blame them she is beautiful but she also has a heart the size of Texas! We love you Tawni! Arnold and Amanda are also hanging out on the couch, I guess I got the house a little chilly, they are all snuggling up for Bible study.
William visited the Dentist for the first time ever!!! He thought it was so much fun and was such a big boy. The tech. showed him all the tools, vacuums, tooth counters, and water shooters. Below is William feeling of the vacuum.
Here is William getting his teeth cleaned, He is holding his balloon friend "Harry".
Polish those babies. :) William sat through the whole visit and wanted to go back the next day. Now we are brushing our teeth around 3 times a day, but he would brush them about 10 times a day if I would let him.

My Husband Rocks Friday!

Michael is so wonderful. I am constantly in awe of the selflessness he shows everyday, but today I am thinking of a specific example that he showed to me earlier this week. On Tuesday, it had been a hectic day. I had not gotten nearly as much done around the house as I had liked and i was exhaused from having a teething toddler and a gassy infant all day. Michael came home from work exhausted and not feeling well. He walked into a disaster area of a playroom, a toddler with an attitude and a fuss bucket baby Brennan . After dinner was over, we put the food away(but left the kitchen a mess), bathed the older brothers and got them to bed. I did my normal bathroom pickup after tucking them in, while Michael tended to Brennan, but it really hit me what a great partner I have when I stopped picking up to come and nurse Brennan. Again Michael wasn't feeling well, but after handing over the baby he got up and went to the kitchen and started cleaning up from dinner. I figured he was going to rinse the dishes, and put them all in the sink, but by the time Brennan was finished eating, the entire kitchen was spottless. Michael even hand washed and dried every dish we used that evening. So after the baby was relaxed from feeding I was able to just sit for a little while and enjoy my husband rather than trying to get the house cleaned up for the next days events. I am so blessed to have Michael as my husband!! He really does ROCK!!
Michael, Thank you so much for all you do for me and the boys. Thank you for coming home with a smile on your face, and thank you for being such a wonderful example and Christian leader for our boys. We love you!!!

All I see is ORANGE.
I know I know, my page is pretty orange... Why you ask? Well duh! Because it's October, the month of pumpkins, fall leaves, and cool weather; well at least in some parts of the country. I decided that since it is still summer around here and probably will be until January:) That I would try to make my page little less summer and a little more fall. So here is it. :) hehe.
Happy Fall Y'all. :)

Picture Day
Today was picture day in the Caldwell House. We now have updated family pictures that include our new sweetest baby:). William thought picture day was fun and was very cooperative through the entire process. Brennan did fairly well, as long as I wasn't holding him(I think he thought it was time to eat). Cade was not so sure he liked picture day. He didn't smile for many of the pictures and would hardly leave mine or Michael's side, so the shots were limited, but I think we got a few good ones. What do you think?

From one mom to another
Ok Girls. I am out of ideas, or just can't come up with any to begin with. I have been in a food rut for the last 3 months and am in need of suggestions. Can you food preparation specialists aka moms give me some healthy and fairly quick meal suggestions especially for breakfast and lunch? I don't cook much for either of these, but would be willing to (a little). Please any suggestions are great.
I also need suggestions for a baby that won't go to sleep all night. He is a great sleeper during the day; with only a few fussy times. But about 8:30 or so he gets wound up (crying) and we can't get him back to sleep until around 1:30 or 2:00 usually. Needless to say this is taking it's toll on Michael and I. We have tried several things; bathing, nursing, mylicon, swaddling, changing positions, tummy and back and side, Swing, bouncy, running water, we have even tried giving him a bottle(which he refuses to take any time) I keep him in the middle of the action all day, we start winding down, dimming the lights and all as we put the older brothers to bed around 8:00 and he is in our room at night. Anyway any suggestions are welcome. Do you think he has his days and night mixed up? and how do I solve that?

All rolled into one
Ok, I only have a short amount of time before Brennan wakes up, so I'm rushing this post and rolling several post into one. Sorry I don't have more time to write, but hey... at least your getting a few pics, right?
Brennan (5 1/2 wks) loves to take naps on this floor pad. Thanks Dad!
His cheeks are growing by the day! :)
You know you want to smile! I think they look like they are having the best conversation:)
Yes I do realize it is 90 degrees outside, but while sorting through clothes today, William came across some feet pajamas(his favorite thing to wear) and wanted to put them on so badly! And of course whatever William has, Cade must have also. So here they are in the midst of a mess, happy as larks with their feet pajamas.
So cute!!! William loves his baby brothers!
I took this picture and as I was looking at it I saw the future. Here they are all sitting on the couch together watching Monday Night Football. What a great bonding time! I expect to be taking this same picture in years to come.
